I've only had this fish tank for 3 months.  It was a Christmas gift from my brother-in-law, Steve.  It sits on my desk in my home office, where I work 2 days a week.  I was really excited to get some fish!  In January, I went to the fish store and bought some tiny, pretty cool-looking fish.  I excitedly brought them home, let them bob in their bag in the water for an hour, then dumped them in to their new home.  I left for 6 hours, then returned home to check on the little guys.  Sad news.  I updated my FB:

I waited a week, then decided to attempt to keep some different fish alive.  This time I only got 2 fish, and they seemed pretty happy!  Until I changed some of their water out.  Then Paulie started acting a little crazy.  He'd purposefully swim-dart himself in to Petey over and over again.  Or he'd just sit there in one spot and flutter his little fins super fast.  It was strange.  Then it was time to change out some more water (I only did this once a month, and only 25% of the water).  The next day, doom.  Again, I documented the sad news on my FB page:

I don't think I'm cut out to be a pet-owner...
